  • WALL PANELS Frames with 47mm x 75mm graded timbers c 600mm centre; sole plate pressure treated; noggins fitted where necessary for kickboarding, larger section timbers may be required when trussed rafter roofs for natural slates or tiles are specified. Panels are secured to Clients' foundation through brickwork and into concrete pad. Panel to panel connections by rust protected bolts and nails. Insulation can be installed into wall cavities.
  • EXTERNAL WALL CLADDING 19mm x 125mm shiplap boarding from selected quality Redwood boards pressure impregnated to British Standards 5589 category B. Decorating can be applied if required.
  • ROOFING CONSTRUCTION Trussed rafters roofing with 50mm x 50mm roofing battens supporting our specialised lightweight 'Pantile system' (30 years tile guarantee) to ISO 9001.
  • ALTERNATIVE ROOFING 15mm exterior OSB on purlin and truss roof covered with heavy grade mineralised glass fibre reinforced roofing felt to BS747 type 3E. 15mm exterior OSB on purlin and truss roof covered with mineralised glass fibre reinforced asphalt tiles.
  • ROOF LINING: 6mm WBP plywood can be fitted to underside of purlins and trusses. If required insulation can be fitted above this.
  • VENTILATION Our lightweight 'Pantile system' is naturally ventilated along all the eaves and ridge allowing adequate ventilation. Alternative roof systems have ridge and eaves ventilation fitted. Overhang: Provided to protect stable doors to the front. Overhang of 1200mm is clad in either 12mm shiplap or 6mm plywood.
  • STABLE DOORS Outer cladding in 19mm x 125mm TVG jointed preservative treated boarding. Internal cladding with 9mm WBP plywood. Fitted to 38mm x 125mm ledge and braces. Ironmongery: Heavy duty galvanised reversible strap hinges; 150mm heavy duty galvanised pad bolts with elongated keep. Heavy duty galvanised kick over catch. Anti chew strip to top of bottom door extending down to 400mm. Anti chew strip to opening edge of top door. Galvanised cabin hooks.
  • TACK DOORS 19mm x 125mm T & 'V'G treated boarding as above on 38mm x 125mm ledge and bracing.
  • WINDOWS Six blade fully adjustable louvered protected internally by galvanised grill. perspex window.
  • KICKING BOARDS 18mm V313 high density moisture resistant boarding to BS5669C/4 type to ~ eaves height. 9mm 'Stokboard' is available for extra protection. Internal decoration is available.
  • GUTTERING AND RAIN WATER PRODUCTS UPVC squareline large capacity gutters with squareline downpipes and fittings in option of colours. NB Timber sizes are sawn dimensions and may vary in their machined state. Ashcraft reserve the right to amend this specification without notice.
